📋 Description
•We’re looking for a highly skilled Database Administrator to design, optimize, and manage our database systems. •The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in PostgreSQL and a passion for performance tuning and scalability. •Experience with AWS RDS and AWS DMS is highly desirable, while familiarity with AWS data processing services like Kinesis, EventBridge, Athena, Glue, and Firehose is a plus. •This role is perfect for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, taking initiative in undefined spaces, and working with a collaborative, high-performing team.
🎯 Requirements
•5+ years of experience with PostgreSQL, including advanced query optimization and performance tuning. •Strong knowledge of indexing strategies, query execution plans, and database internals. •Experience managing AWS RDS for PostgreSQL in production environments. •Hands-on experience with AWS DMS for data migration and replication. •Proficiency in SQL, PL/pgSQL, and scripting (Python, Bash, etc.) for automation. •Strong experience with database backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies. •Ability to troubleshoot and optimize database performance under real-world constraints.
