📋 Description
• Dialectic is a full-service mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering design and consulting firm • Collaborate with staff to create accurate technical drawings • Contribute to the overall design process for MEP engineering • Perform calculations and designs engineering systems • Prepare electrical system layouts, detailed drawings and schematics • Coordinate design requirements and decisions with other disciplines • Perform research and make recommendations on system feasibility • Evaluate products for application • Attend client meetings with project managers • Assist with or oversee project coordination tasks • Travel as required for site surveys and field inspections • Train or provide assistance to others as needed
🎯 Requirements
• 10 + years of applicable work experience if no Engineering degree • Intermediate proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam Revu • Strong understanding of local codes and amendments, with the ability to interpret and apply the codes towards system design and calculations • Strong familiarity with building structures, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and how they interact • Intermediate knowledge and proficiency in engineering design
