Description

• The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for joining a product/service team and contributing to the software design, software development, and overall product lifecycle for the Pricing team. • This role will be primarily focused on distributed back-end solutions, leveraging Microservices, Data Pipelines and Producer-Consumer based systems. • The engineering process is highly collaborative.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in web development technologies using JSON, HTML, and CSS preprocessors. • Extensive experience in JavaScript/Typescript and asynchronous call structures. • Extensive experience with Angular, Typescript, RxJs, and other web technologies. • Extensive experience with Unit Testing and Test Coverage technologies. • Experience using Agile development methodologies. • Familiarity with git-based source control. • Interest in researching and understanding alternative web technologies. • Knowledge of Cloud architecture. • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other Container technologies. • Experience with Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot. • Understanding of event-based architecture and experience with technologies that supports distributed systems, such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.
