Description

• Are you an innovative experienced technologist with a passion for large scale Enterprise data and analytics solutions and platforms? • This is an opportunity to shape the future of data-driven customer-facing athlete solutions for a leading sports retailer with $14B+ in revenue and 800+ physical stores. • Drive and implement data architecture strategies that support our long-term business goals • Collaborate with business stakeholders to map business goals into technology capabilities leveraging data as a strategic asset across multiple channels including online, in-store, mobile apps, and 3rd party platforms • Evaluate, design and demonstrate prototypes for integrating data from multiple 1st and 3rd party sources to create a unified view of enterprise data delivery and storage solutions • Work closely with Product Engineering teams to establish Enterprise domain data models, data integration patterns, data governance & lineage, and data platform decisions to accelerate delivery of business data and analytics solutions • Ensure the proposed solutions are designed to scale and meet the foundational technology guiderails of platforms alignment, security controls, reliability & performance, and cost management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent Experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field • 7+ years of hands-on experience in software/data engineering and architecture • 2+ years of experience in scaled cloud data engineering technologies • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Demonstrated experience in developing cloud service architectures & solutions • Ability to understand the business context and outcomes of the domain • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders • Ability to collaborate with teams across multiple departments and functions • Ability to publish professional architecture artifacts and documentation • Ability to provide technical recommendations to technology teams
