• Prepare conceptual and detailed mechanical and process designs, including plans, specifications, and cost estimates for water and vapor treatment facilities. • Establish appropriate design methods, conduct engineering and process design, equipment sizing and selection. • Direct the execution of design projects and mentor junior engineering staff. • Conduct quality control and quality assurance tests and ensure designs are compliant with the clients’ technical requirements and budget(s). • Travel to the project site to conduct project-related tasks; provide timely responses to managers and clients on project tasks (domestic and international travel up to 25%).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil and Environmental, Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical or Process Engineering from an accredited university • 10+ years of engineering-related experience in water treatment or related field • Excellent organizational, communication and leadership skills, including a demonstrated ability to lead multi-discipline teams and motivate others • Ability to interface with cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel/management • Strong problem solving and analytical skills • Solid time/project management skills • Experience leading project teams (multidisciplinary preferred) • Exposure and experience coordinating with other engineering disciplines (i.e. electrical, instrumentation, civil, architectural and structural disciplines) • Able to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities (i.e. self-starter, self-motivated) • Willingness and ability to travel as needed (estimated up to 25%) • Competency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software, 3D preferred. • Proficient with Microsoft Office software
