• Lead and elevate our overarching creative vision across our brands, campaigns and initiatives. • Oversee a team including a design director, graphic designer and video specialist. • Ensure all creative outputs align with the organization’s mission, values, and strategic objectives. • Develop and drive the overarching broad, multidisciplinary, creative strategy to support the organization’s mission. • Develop creative campaigns that inspire, educate, and motivate target audiences to action. • Maintain and evolve the organization’s brand guidelines to ensure consistency and adaptability across all platforms and initiatives. • Lead the conceptualization, design, and execution of visual assets for campaigns, events, and organizational initiatives. • Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of creative specialists, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and excellence. • Work across the Division to develop creative content and ensure seamless production and distribution of creative assets. • Advocate for the integrity of the brand in every project.
• Proven (8-10 years) experience as a Creative Director or in a senior creative leadership role, ideally within a non-profit, advocacy, or mission-driven organization. • Expertise in graphic design, visual storytelling, and branding, with a robust portfolio demonstrating a range of creative work. • Strong understanding of video production, editing workflows, and best practices for multi-platform content. • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor creative teams, managing multiple projects and competing deadlines with ease. • Flexible and adaptable leader who can work collaboratively across teams and with partners inside and outside the organization. • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate strategic goals into actionable creative concepts. • Passion for political advocacy and a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within the non-profit sector as well as 501c4s. • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of creative work and team management. • Alignment with NDWA’s vision and values, including a commitment to economic, racial, and gender justice. • Ability to work and collaborate with diverse staff in person and remotely and as part of a high-performing team.
