Description

• Develop new features, iterate on current systems, and maintain our high code quality. • Review Product Requirements and create Technical Plans, adhering to high quality standards and technical requirements. • Work closely with designers and product managers to review UI/UX and create the best product for our users. • Collaborate with other engineers on your team to conduct code reviews, functional testing, and release Android builds. • Collaborate with your iOS engineer counterparts to deliver functionality in lock-step across both platforms. • Participate in agile team ceremonies to ensure efficient and effective delivery of high-quality software. • Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Android mobile development using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. • Strong knowledge of Android operating system capabilities, app signing and deployment processes, and consumer app best practices. • Expert level knowledge of Kotlin, Android SDK, Jetpack Compose, Gradle, Hilt and Dagger. • Experience writing and maintaining a comprehensive suite of automated unit and integration tests. • A disciplined approach to development, code review, testing, documentation and code structure in a team environment. • Experience working with backend APIs over REST and Websockets. • A high level of personal accountability and a blend of strong technical skills, creative problem-solving, and a collaborative spirit. • Ability and desire to mentor and grow other engineers through code reviews, design reviews, and over-the-shoulder debugging. • Deep knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), agile methodologies, and continuous learning. • Passion for sports and technology, with an excitement to build the future of sports betting.
