Description
• Develop, establish, and enforce quality assurance standards and measures • Gather and analyze data in support of business cases and product requirements • Write test plans and scripts for tracking defects in product development • Execute test plans to ensure overall software quality • Conduct internal audits to measure adherence to established QA standards • Create and execute test plans that will determine optimal application performance • Verify and revise quality assurance standards as needed • Ensure testing activities meet business requirements and systems goals • Collaborate with software/systems personnel in application testing • Make recommendations for improvement of applications
Requirements
• Knowledge of UNIX tools, particularly debugging tools • Knowledge of test management tools such as Jira and Xray • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Travis, Ansible) • Experience with GitHub/GitLab • Familiarity with SSH, FTP, SCP, HTTP, DNS protocols • Familiarity with JavaScript, Python, and/or Perl • Strong skills testing user interfaces with relational database backends • Ability to communicate to individuals with various technical abilities • Ability to provide detailed step-by-step information in the form of bug and testing reports • Ability to determine when there is a skill gap with new products • Be able to read and speak English • 5 years of progressive automation experience
