📋 Description
• As Revenue Accountant, you will join a world-class revenue accounting team that consistently delivers high-quality results while maintaining a strong team culture. • You will support the revenue accounting team and play a key role in the monthly close and quarterly reporting process. • This role contributes collaboratively to ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures and internal controls. • The Revenue Accountant will report to the Revenue Manager and will help drive process improvement projects as Dropbox continues to grow and evolve. • This role may require light travel to the Company’s HQ in San Francisco or other locations.
🎯 Requirements
• BS/BA in Accounting/Finance, CPA license preferred • 4+ years of experience in revenue accounting, including public accounting experience • Top performer who is willing to dive into the details and who is looking to gain experience and grow with Dropbox • Detail-oriented with great organizational skills, but also comfortable with ambiguity • Experience setting up or improving Accounting processes • Experience in applying revenue accounting guidance (ASC 606) and related reporting for SaaS companies a plus • Advanced MS Excel skills, with the ability to manipulate large amounts of transactional data to produce monthly journal entries and prepare ad hoc analyses
