📋 Description

• This is a remote position. • Job Title: Accountant • Are you a numbers aficionado with a knack for accuracy and a passion for financial order? We’re on the lookout for a skilled Accountant to join our team. • If you excel in financial reporting, compliance, and analysis and have a keen eye for detail, this position might just be your next career move! • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports that comply with legal and regulatory requirements. • Oversee daily accounting transactions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and payroll processing, ensuring all financial data is up to date and accurately recorded. • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the company’s budgets, comparing actual performance with budgeted forecasts and reporting variances. • Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations and filings. • Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring the process runs smoothly and maintaining impeccable records for auditors. • Support due diligence processes for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions by preparing and reviewing financial documents and collaborating with legal and operational teams. • Provide insightful analysis to support decision-making across the business, including profitability analysis, cost savings opportunities, and investment appraisal. • Continually seek ways to improve financial processes and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the finance department. • Lead efforts in the creation and management of complex data rooms, ensuring all necessary financial and legal documents are organized, accurate, and accessible for investors, auditors, and other stakeholders.

🎯 Requirements

• Previous work experience as an accountant, including significant due diligence experience and expertise in creating and managing complex data rooms. • You have a sharp eye for detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in a high-volume environment. • Strong analytical abilities to interpret financial data and provide clear, actionable insights. • High level of integrity and transparency, crucial for handling sensitive financial information. • Proactive in identifying issues and efficient in offering practical solutions. • Comfortable with change and quick to adapt to new financial laws and corporate policies. • Proficient with accounting software and systems, CRMs, and able to adapt to new technologies quickly. • Ability to collaborate effectively with other team members and departments on financial matters. • Ability to communicate financial information clearly and collaborate across departments.
