📋 Description
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams to obtain permits for renewable energy projects • Work with engineering design teams, regulatory agencies, and environmental experts • Manage large complex projects to meet milestones within schedule and budget expectations • Prepare permitting packages and technical reports • Mentor staff in permitting and document preparation
🎯 Requirements
• 10+ years’ experience • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or a related field or equivalent work experience • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have active personal automobile liability insurance by first day of employment • Experience with proactive business development • Experience leading stakeholder outreach programs for energy projects (preferred) • Strong technical writing and research skills, solid written and verbal communication skills • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment • Five (5) or more years’ experience managing the permitting process for energy project teams and mentorship of team members (preferred)
