The $16+ trillion market is the backbone of everyday activities that empower financial freedom, from consolidating credit card debt and refinancing student loans, to buying a home and starting a small business. •dv01’s data analytics platform brings unparalleled transparency into investment performance and risk for lenders and Wall Street investors in structured products. •As a data-first company, we wrangle critical loan data and build modern analytical tools that enable strategic decision-making for responsible lending. •More than 400 of the largest financial institutions use dv01 for our coverage of over 75 million loans spanning mortgages, personal loans, auto, buy-now-pay-later programs, small business, and student loans. •You will be responsible for leading a team of Data Engineers that architects and maintains dv01’s core data pipeline infrastructure. This includes working with individual contributors and cross-functional peers to plan and execute on maintenance and improvements to the existing data platform, as well as developing architectures to support new business opportunities.

🎯 Requirements

•An effective engineering manager with 7+ years of total engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a Data Engineering leadership role. •A technical leader - this role does not involve writing a lot of code, but will require previous experience solving similar problems as an individual contributor to guide architectural decisions and to advocate for technical solutions to engineering and business teams. •Able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and adapt to changing requirements when needed. •A skilled written and verbal communicator – you can explain complex engineering systems to a variety of different audiences. •Experienced hiring, mentoring, and coaching engineers - you empower those around you and help them grow and perform to the best of their abilities rather than micromanage. •Experienced with agile project management – leading sprint planning and execution. •Experienced with cloud infrastructure, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
