Description

• Support the BPS general ledger controls for clients • Ensure daily ledger feeds to clients are released by 11 am CST • Deliver monthly ledger feeds to clients by the 1st, 3rd, or 5th business day following month-end • Contribute to the financial reporting team responsible for supplemental financial reporting tasks for clients • Support projects related to new ledger requirements

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of insurance accounting • Experience in controls and validations, particularly for accounting ledger validation • Ability to research, comprehend, and correct errors in accounting systems • Experience in project management, especially in production and ledger process implementation • Knowledge of insurance systems such as CyberLife, wmA/Vantage, etc. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field • Experience with systems like ABC ledger and Mainframe EIS • Experience with PAS (Policy Administration Systems) or similar administrative systems
