Description

• Oversee all accounting and finance operations, including audit activities. • Advocate for the quality and financial sustainability of the Medicaid business. • Develop spending and business initiative recommendations based on financial trends. • Conduct ad-hoc analyses to ensure financial diligence before finalizing decisions. • Produce financial performance reports to maintain transparency in market financial health. • Support financial planning and manage all financial levers. • Track market P&L and escalate financial performance risks to senior leadership. • Monitor and report on membership demographics and changes. • Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders on risk considerations and implementation costs. • Utilize segment analytics to inform both short-term and long-term affordability recommendations. • Foster stakeholder collaboration across the entire organization as well as with external entities, including the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services. • Oversee material financial transactions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field and 10 years of related experience, or 12+ years of experience in lieu of a degree. • Strong knowledge of Medicaid Managed Care. • Must reside in North Carolina (relocation assistance considered).
