• Act as a technical advisor and product expert to customers and sales teams, understanding their needs and providing suitable solutions. • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify leads, engaging in pre-sales activities such as product demonstrations, presentations, and technical discussions. • Develop and deliver compelling product demonstrations tailored to the customer’s specific requirements, highlighting key features, products, and benefits. • Assist with creating proposals, responding to RFPs (Request for Proposals), and preparing technical documentation. • Work closely with the engineering and product teams to communicate customer feedback, identify product improvements, and contribute to the product roadmap. • Provide technical support throughout the sales cycle, addressing customer inquiries, conducting proof-of-concept implementations, and troubleshooting technical issues. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product management, program management, and customer success, to drive customer satisfaction and ensure successful implementations. • Assist the Sales team with the technical aspects of utilizing EasyPost products. • Perform technical discoveries on calls with prospective customers to gather details to fully define customer requirements and resolve pain points. • Help to sell EasyPost products with broad understanding and knowledge of all available tools (Core API, Infoship, GlobalShip, eFORMz, Shopping Guarantee & Package Protection, and Elevate/Summit). • Establish relationships with partners, prospects, and internal teams in support of the Sales teams objectives and engage and leverage corporate resources, abilities, budgets and personnel as appropriate. • Address technical issues that are impeding the closing of sales opportunities. • Work alongside the Sales team to implement and manage technical integration guides and resources.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field. • Previous experience in a technical sales role or relevant customer-facing position. • Strong technical background and understanding of complex technical concepts including coding (Python, C++, SQL, etc). • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Demonstrated ability to build rapport and establish relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing effective solutions. • Self-motivated and results orientated, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. • Willingness to travel occasionally for customer visits, conferences, and industry events.
