📋 Description
• Lead and grow a high-functioning team of engineers. • Partner with Product and Design to define, prioritize, and deliver impactful features. • Foster technical excellence – Partner with engineers to drive smart technical decisions. • Be hands-on – Whether reviewing code, contributing to architecture, or helping remove roadblocks. • Build an inclusive, learning-focused culture – Prioritize psychological safety and knowledge sharing. • Help recruit and onboard top-tier engineering talent. • Lead and support a fully remote, globally distributed team – fostering collaboration across time zones.
🎯 Requirements
• 2+ years of engineering management experience, ideally in a startup or fast-moving environment. • Technical expertise in Node.js and React (or similar modern web technologies). • A collaborative mindset—you thrive at the intersection of Engineering, Product, and Design. • Experience driving high-quality, iterative development processes (agile, lean, healthy culture of testing, etc.). • Impactful communication and leadership skills, with a focus on mentorship and team growth. • Bonus: Experience in construction or financial tech – While not required, familiarity building construction tech or financial products is a plus.
