• Working as an Outbound Phone Transfer agent • Taking roughly 40 calls per hour • Attempting to get in contact with and to encourage Discover Card holders to speak with another member of the Financial Services team • Updating contact information, reviewing scripted disclosures, and transferring card holders to an account specialist who would handle the account further
• Patient communication skills • Comfortable speaking with people over the phone • Responsible and able to handle a professional job in a business environment • Able to work at least 20 hours per week (up to 30 hours/week during school year, up to 39 hours during school breaks) • Able to work year-round including school breaks • Attends a college that allows off-campus work • No paper, pens, or electric devices like cell phones or smart watches allowed in workspace • May need to work shifts starting at 6 a.m. (MT) • Strict attendance and punctuality expectations
