• Element 84 is hiring a Front End Engineer to help us shape and build user interfaces for meaningful projects. • Join a team of multidisciplinary engineers working to solve challenging problems in geospatial, healthcare, disaster response, and transportation. • Be part of a small company with big roles and an opportunity to influence internal design practices and front-end development methodologies.
Requirements
• 3+ years of relevant experience in software and application development. • Expert in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. • Strong visual and user interface design skills. • Experience with Figma, Figjam, Sketch or Adobe Suite. • Experience with design systems and comfort working with shared codebases. • Experience with React or other front-end Javascript frameworks. • Experience with Git and build tools like Vite and Webpack. • Cloud experience, AWS preferred • Basic understanding of programming languages and frameworks like Python, and Node.js. • Ability to independently explore and evaluate different tooling options and open-source solutions, considering factors like stability, popularity, and suitability for the project's requirements. • Outstanding all-round communication skills and ability to work collaboratively and proficiently in a remote environment.
