📋 Description
• Own the overall architecture and performance of our iOS app and watch integrations as well as any future Apple devices (TV? Car?) • Push the envelope by researching and implementing features that help fellow developers • Adopt the latest iOS APIs, languages, and features • Coach and collaborate directly with our amazing customers • Work with product, Customer Success, and sales to share technology and product decisions • Implement and improve engineering best practices for a rapidly growing code base that is relied upon by the world’s top mobile companies
🎯 Requirements
• 6+ years of experience of iOS development using Swift and Objective-C • Experience with unit testing and performance optimization methodologies • Experience building SDKs for mobile • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills • Understanding of the Objective-C run-time • A curiosity for how things work and the ability to think ahead for future changes in an ever-changing mobile ecosystem • High competency and low ego, you have a passion for helping people both inside and outside of your company • Submitted and released iOS apps • Experience with instrumenting mobile code to report performance metrics in production • Familiarity with OpenTelemetry and other observability and/or tracing frameworks • Experience with cross-platform frameworks such as React Native and Flutter • Contribution to open source projects • An opinion on Star Wars vs Star Trek
