Description

• The Retirement Plan Counselor helps individuals using Empower to plan their financial future. • Develop strategic relationships with site contacts within assigned territory. • Meet with participants virtually and conduct webinars on employer-sponsored Defined Contribution retirement plans. • Act as the "voice of the customer" by relaying important client feedback to appropriate areas.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 - 5 years financial services/retirement experience • Satisfy service level agreements for the plan as well as achieve business results • Possess a comprehensive knowledge of mutual funds/separate accounts, with an understanding of the risk/reward trade-off for all securities • FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses required • Be well versed in Deferred Compensation and Defined Contribution Plans as well as retirement planning concepts • Strong presentation skills • Have experience with a consultative needs-based approach helping people plan for retirement • Ability to work independently; results-oriented
