• Lead game development initiatives in a collaborative community • Own the end-to-end production of games • Guide the creative and technical direction of game projects • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align efforts • Build and maintain relationships with external game studios • Foster a vibrant modder/creator community • Oversee business and legal aspects of game production • Mentor junior, intern, and student developers • Represent organization at industry events
🎯 Requirements
• Proven entrepreneurial or small-business/studio leadership experience • Track record of shipping games with small or mid-sized teams • Ability to achieve results with lean teams and limited resources • Hands-on experience with contracting and business/legal considerations • Strong leadership with a collaborative approach • Experience working with modding/creator communities • Ability to manage remote teams across multiple time zones • Bilingual communication skills (English and Spanish preferred) • Passion for using games as platforms for learning and skill-building • Confidence with digital tools
