Description

• Enhance the security of EnergyHub's cloud infrastructure and software development lifecycle. • Guide best practices for the engineering team. • Develop strategies for compliance with regulatory frameworks. • Implement secure cloud infrastructure improvements. • Identify and enhance defense in depth controls. • Shift security testing upstream in the delivery process. • Operate and automate vulnerability management programs. • Manage core security tools and technologies. • Play a key role in cross-company security efforts. • Partner with parent security team for additional resources.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of security principles and best practices developed over 7+ years of experience. • Managed AWS from security groups to organizations. • Comfortable tackling ambiguous projects requiring information gathering from multiple stakeholders. • Manage infrastructure as code with tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. • Understand security implications of containerized environments like Kubernetes or ECS. • Comfortable on the command line, solid fundamentals of Linux system administration. • Good understanding of core networking concepts and network security foundations. • Experience administering declarative CI/CD workflows, preferably GitHub Actions. • Can write Python or another high-level programming language. • Stay on top of industry developments in the security solution spaces. • Familiar with security management frameworks like CIS Controls, OWASP. • Bonus: Worked on compliance efforts for audit frameworks like SOC 2 or ISO 27001. • Bonus: Familiar with NERC-CIP.
