Description
• Responsible for assisting with the Financial Monthly Close Process. • Creating and approving journal entries. • Calculate, file and pay business taxes. • Implement efficiencies where applicable. • Standardizing and documenting processes. • Implementing internal controls for accounting. • Assist the Controller with internal controls for invoicing.
Requirements
• BS/BA in accounting/finance or relative field. • A minimum of 7 years of accounting experience. • Good understanding of GAAP accounting and financial reporting practices. • Familiarity with accounting software. • Great attention to detail. • Strong mathematical and analytical skills. • Perform under minimal supervision. • Understanding of internal controls for the accounting function. • Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written.
