• Energy Vault® provides energy solutions that accelerate the global transition to renewable energy. • The SCADA Engineer will design and engineer solutions for energy storage systems. • You'll document and build scalable processes and technical solutions as the company grows.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering, MS is a plus. • 3-8 years of experience in SCADA and PLC development or application engineering role • Thorough knowledge of communication protocols such as Modbus RTU/TCP, DNP3.0, PROFINET and IEC 61850 • Working knowledge on SEL RTAC, SEL Relays & Meters and SCADA gateways • Experience with point-to-point testing and communication protocol troubleshooting • Experience with network switches, firewalls, patch panels, media converters (fiber/serial) and security requirements such as NERC CIP • Understanding ring network redundancy concepts such as MRP is a plus • Technical knowledge of inverter-based generation systems, renewable energy, and energy storage industry a plus • Willingness to travel - domestically and internationally • Comfortable thriving in fast-paced, rapid growth environments. • A passion for sustainability, our mission, and our vision is a bonus!
