Description

β€’ The Special Account Analyst is responsible for the completion of various customer billing processes that require submission in Third-Party billing systems, a subsequent requirement to be paid. β€’ Completes invoice submissions to multiple Third-Party billing systems according to contract requirements. β€’ Calls and/or emails clients regarding unpaid balances; ensures all clients have been contacted regarding outstanding balances in accordance with Collections Guidelines. β€’ Ensures completeness and accuracy of billing information for clients and communicates any billing changes to leadership. β€’ Analyzes and reviews deductions and non-payment items, as well as make appeal recommendations in various systems. β€’ Researches and understands contract billing and pricing; processes voids and rebills as necessary. β€’ Pulls payment information out of company accounting systems; identifies duplicates or overpayments and provides information to external contacts. β€’ Processes write offs according to company guidelines to eliminate outstanding aging AR. β€’ Reduces bottlenecks in the billing process with training and sharing knowledge. β€’ Corresponds with specific clients for payment of outstanding AR. β€’ Ensures timely resolution of customer disputes and maintains thorough and accurate documentation of customer issues; escalates applicable situations to leadership. β€’ Provides reporting analysis and summary to leadership team regarding account status and any client assistance needed, helping to recommend improvements aimed at reducing future occurrences. β€’ Professionally attends meetings with internal and external parties, showing presence, and can accurately respond to varying questions. β€’ Performs other duties and projects as needed or assigned. β€’ Participates in ongoing education, training, and development efforts to maintain and enhance skills as assigned or approved. β€’ Upholds the values of Engle Martin and Our Foundation.

Requirements

β€’ Three to five years of progressively responsible, relevant experience β€’ Proficient to advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel, including the creation and navigation of complex spreadsheets β€’ Thorough, diligent, and detail-oriented β€’ Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize consistently β€’ Critical thinking and problem-solving skills β€’ Ability to reconcile, research in a timely manner β€’ Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment β€’ Commitment to customer service β€’ Ability to quickly learn and become proficient in multiple internal platforms β€’ Understanding of contractual language β€’ Effective verbal and written communication skills β€’ Basic mathematical skills; fundamental accounting skills preferred β€’ Compatible with organization culture and values of compassion, respect, integrity, teamwork, adherence to standards of ethical behavior and professional conduct
