• The position is fully remote, with hiring location preferences in Spain • Conduct research and due diligence, draft, negotiate, and manage the execution of EO’s commercial contracts and other legal agreements • Provide administrative support related to EO contracts and agreements processes and procedures • Monitor and update EO’s electronic contract management system • Provide administrative support in management of the electronic document signature process • Manage record keeping and archive functions related to legal agreements • Support creation of form agreement templates and playbooks in collaboration with the legal team • Provide preliminary review, issue spotting, and triage of agreements • Support in compliance audit review of existing agreements • Conduct research as assigned by Senior Director of Legal Affairs & Compliance • Collaborate with Legal and Governance colleagues on process and system improvements • Participate in data privacy initiatives • Undertake special projects and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Current law student, or LL.B./Juris Doctorate/Bachelor of laws from an accredited law school preferred • Preference for valid license to practice law in good standing or equivalent professional qualification • At least 4-5 years’ experience working with commercial contracts from a legal perspective • Familiarity with wide range of commercial contracts, standard clauses, reasoning for clauses, and negotiation tactics • Familiarity with legal issues related to tax-exempt organizations, including tax laws such as private benefit, inurement, unrelated business income, and others • 2-4 years’ experience working in a nonprofit association preferred • Familiarity and experience with global privacy laws, including the GDPR • Familiarity with sales, VAT, and/or GST tax systems in processes in the European Union and other jurisdictions • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, logical solution-oriented thinker • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English with a focus on excellent customer service approach to working with all levels of stakeholders • Ability to be flexible, timely, and efficient
