Description

• Oversee and manage the financial operations of the foundation, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, cash forecasting, and maintaining financial integrity. • Lead the monthly closing process, financial statement preparation, treasury functions, and compliance with relevant accounting principles and regulations. • Collaborate with senior leadership to maintain the foundation’s financial health and provide financial analysis to support decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred. • 3-5 years of accounting or finance experience, with 2-3 years in a supervisory role. • Nonprofit or foundation accounting experience is a plus. • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, NetSuite, PN3) and advanced Excel skills; Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems knowledge preferred. • In-depth understanding of GAAP, nonprofit accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting; familiarity with laws and regulations governing nonprofit financial operations. • Proven ability to manage and mentor a team in a fast-paced environment. • Strong analytical abilities for interpreting financial data and presenting insights. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with effective interaction across all organization levels.
