📋 Description

• Report to the Program Manager, Roads and Addresses on an ongoing basis and communicate all relevant matters pertaining to the program. • Ensure the smooth and timely delivery of assigned program tasks. • Act as an advocate for the Roads and Addresses Program. • Work closely with other teams to manage client expectations and ensure program objectives are achieved. • Encourage adoption of roads and addresses best practices and standards for data maintenance and updates. • Perform quality assessments on contributor roads and address data to evaluate quality, accuracy, completeness, suitability, and NG9-1-1 compliance. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex data synchronization issues for any contributor. • Offer suggestions to improve roads and addresses data processing, workflows, or quality assurance checks. • Continuously improve roads and addresses documentation. • Organize the work environment to ensure assigned tasks are properly prioritized and completed on schedule. • Identify risks / issues and report to the Program Manager. • Adopt and enforce the program governance, standards, and day-to-day direction provided by the Program Manager. • Develop StoryMaps, blogs, videos, and other communication material to promote and grow awareness of the Roads and Addresses Program. • Develop scripts and applications to assist with roads and addresses workflow productivity. • Facilitate requirements gathering, needs analysis, functional requirement definition, and business solution needs as required. • Assist with building, testing, documenting, installing, and training of custom applications. • Provide technical expertise to support the development and implementation of required solutions. • Respond to customer inquiries and issues with a sense of urgency maintaining continuous communication until the matter is resolved to the satisfaction of the customer. • Encourage community participation by communicating the program benefits and advantages. • Develop an understanding of roads and addresses contributors, their use of roads and addresses, current or planned roads and address data initiatives, and opportunities for further engagement. • Engage with contributors to build ongoing relationships that lead to more frequent data contributions and quality improvements. • Promote and socialize the benefits of participating in the Roads and Addresses Program among colleagues within Esri Canada. • Actively participate in community outreach events such as seminars, webinars, community meetups, and industry conferences to deliver presentations that articulate the Roads and Addresses Program benefits and value. • Employ and manage a virtual server to share and publish relevant datasets. • Maintain contributor records and ensure they are always complete and up to date. • Mentor new staff on the Roads and Addresses Program along with its data processing workflows. • Work closely with other members of the team to ensure that work is completed efficiently and quickly. • Provide guidance and share experience and knowledge with others on the team. • Proactively pursue self-instruction on all relevant technical topics. • Maintain a high degree of knowledge and expertise with Esri software through training and certification.

🎯 Requirements

• Post-secondary degree in geomatics, GIS, or equivalent education and experience. • Minimum 5 years of experience working with Esri’s ArcGIS product suite. • Experience working with Esri’s technology (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online) in customer-facing roles. • Proven customer service skills. • Proven experience with Python in an ArcGIS environment. • Proven experience developing ArcGIS applications. • Outstanding networking and communication skills. • Fluency in English is essential, as this role requires regular client communication and support in English-speaking regions • Experience in designing, building, and maintaining road networks. • Experience in designing, building, and maintaining address registries. • Networking and communication skills. • Leadership and mentoring skills. • Fluency in both English and French. • Experience in training and educating customers. • ArcGIS Desktop Associate certification. • Cartographic skills and expertise.
