📋 Description

• Who we are: Ethena is a compliance platform for modern teams that offers enjoyable, effective training and tools. • Role: Head of Compliance responsible for developing a robust compliance program and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations across the organization. • Reporting: You'll report to the General Counsel and engage with multiple departments to foster a culture of compliance. • Strategy: Develop and execute a thought leadership strategy, representing Ethena in the ethics and compliance community.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven track record of developing and implementing effective compliance programs across diverse organizations. • Familiarity with laws and requirements applicable to our business, including global harassment prevention requirements, employment laws, data privacy laws, cybersecurity, AI laws, anti-money laundering, anti-bribery and anti-corruption, and Code of Conduct. • Ability to adapt to changing regulatory landscapes and business needs. • Demonstrated ability to quickly develop connection, rapport, and credibility with compliance leaders, advisors, and prospects. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work both independently and as a member of a team. • Proven ability to assess and prioritize risks, and effectively work with relevant stakeholders to mitigate risks. • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and relationship management skills • An entrepreneurial mindset - we’re an early-stage startup so we’re not just looking for someone to run a playbook. We want you to help build it. • A “roll up your sleeves” mentality and comfort with ambiguity • Familiarity or experience with speaking at events or panels is a plus. • Prior experience using Ethena’s products is also a plus. • Understanding of marketing principles is helpful, but a willingness to learn is essential.
