📋 Description

• Participation in monthly closing activities and preparation of financial statements (according to IFRS and HGB) • Creation of HGB financial statements and primary contact for auditors • Monitoring and analysis of financial data (P&L and balance sheet) • Support to managing directors and business unit managers with ad-hoc inquiries • Creation of monthly/quarterly management reports • Support in cross-functional optimization or post-merger integration projects regarding accounting and controlling processes • Ensuring compliance with internal and external guidelines

🎯 Requirements

• Successfully completed business administration studies (preferably with a focus on Accounting) or relevant commercial training with extensive professional experience in Accounting • Several years of relevant professional experience in accounting or financial controlling • Ideally practical experience in preparing HGB financial statements and audits • Experience in a global environment with corresponding reporting knowledge advantageous • Very good knowledge of accounting (HGB/IFRS) • Basic knowledge of national and international tax law advantageous • Highly analytical and structured approach; quick learning ability; abstraction skills; • Reliability, communication skills, process-oriented and cross-functional perspective • High self-motivation and commitment; creativity in problem-solving • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX and IBM Cognos advantageous • Very good German and conversational English skills
