📋 Description

• As a Staff Software Engineer, be a technical leader planning the Risk and Fraud platform, mentoring engineers, and participating in on-call program. • Work with Staff Engineers, Data Scientists, and Analysts to determine the technical direction and recommendations. • Design low profile data-driven solutions to evolving fraud threats around the platform.

🎯 Requirements

• In-depth experience working with Machine Learning and collaborating with Data Scientists. • 6+ years experience as a backend or data engineer, understanding backend tech, datastores, data pipelines, and distributed systems. • Expert in building high performance systems and services. • Demonstrated ability to mentor and uplevel other engineers. • Experience managing your own infrastructure (Lambdas, Sagemaker, API Gateway, etc.). • Experience aligning design, product, and engineering goals. • Analytical mindset – skilled in solving big questions about the system. • Familiarity with data science principles – collecting, cleaning data, training models. • Unstoppable learner, confident in acquiring new skills quickly. • Efficient, practical programmer with maintainable code production. • Ability to take initiative with great communication skills, especially with cross-functional teams. • Desire to work on a high impact product affecting company success.
