β’ EvenUp is on a mission to support injury law firms across America in providing a consistent and high standard of representation. β’ As EvenUpβs first dedicated People Business Partner, you will play a critical role in shaping how the People team collaborates with the business to provide high impact support. β’ You will work closely with leadership, managers and employees to drive people and culture strategies, initiatives, and programs that align with business objectives.
β’ 7-10 years of experience in People, including at least 3+ years as a People Business Partner or Generalist in a high growth company. β’ A bachelor's degree is required; bonus points for an advanced degree in organizational psychology, business, HR management, or other relevant field. β’ Proven experience in developing and implementing HR transformations and strategies, initiatives, and programs that support organizational goals β’ Strong interpersonal skills, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to connect with a wide variety of audiences β’ Ability to influence and energy to get things done with an iterative approach and willingness to manage strategy, change management and execution β’ Ability to strike the right balance between accountability, performance and empathy β’ Excellent business storytelling skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to translate "HR speak" and data insights into an accessible, influential narrative. β’ High ownership mentality, superior project management abilities, and excellent attention to detail are a must. Thrives on getting things done both quickly and accurately. β’ Maintains the highest standard of confidentiality, discretion, and integrity; demonstrated judgment and ability to deal with sensitive matters effectively β’ Possesses deep knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations as well as extensive experience with HR best practices across the employee lifecycle. β’ Knowledge and prior experience with a non-exempt population is a plus
