Description

• Capacity planning and performance tuning of the database platforms • Carry out database related project work (writing migration scripts, managing OCI database servers, etc) • Automate, monitor, document data operations in the database platforms • Assist development teams in identifying risks and proposing solutions around database reliability • Provide technical support for customer issues • Lead or be involved in the resolution of complex incidents in databases • Maintain awareness of trends and emerging technologies

Requirements

• Ability to operate autonomously • Solid grasp of relational database principles with a focus on Oracle and SQL, preferably PL-SQL • Expertise or strong affinity with various operating systems (preferably Linux) and cloud platforms (preferably Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) • Proficient in analyzing technical requirements for developing database automation projects • Ability to think analytically to identify root causes effectively
