Description

• The NCQA Accreditation Specialist oversees operations compliance with NCQA accreditation requirements. • Responsible for developing, coordinating, and monitoring accreditation activities. • Collaborate with internal partners to collect data for successful surveys. • Educate staff across the organization on accreditation standards. • Evaluate practices to identify compliance gaps and recommend solutions. • Prepare training materials and reports to support compliance. • Coordinate accreditation surveys and serve as point of contact during surveys. • Handle complex assignments and assist in training/mentoring staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in managed care OR 6 years of work experience in managed care • 2 years Accreditation experience (i.e. NCQA, URAC, Joint Commission, CMS) • In-depth knowledge of NCQA standards and accreditation processes • Knowledge of health care regulatory and legislative processes • Experience using Total Quality Management (TQM) / Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) concepts • Knowledge or experience reviewing accreditation standards • Knowledge or experience monitoring compliance and managing evidence documents • Verbal and written communications skills including training skills • Research skills • Analytical skills • Experience managing multiple complex priorities • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
