Description

• Editor with passion for health and wellness • Ensure content is accurate and includes latest medical research • Strong project management skills • Work with freelance writers and editors • React quickly to health and consumer trends • Demonstrated digital storytelling and editing skills • Familiarity with evolving SEO best practices • Independent editor with ability to prioritize and excel in deadline-driven environment • Manage workflows through publication, including marketing, SEO, photo/design, medical review, copy edit, and production

Requirements

• 5+ years of digital editing experience • Strong background in consumer health content • Strong organizational ability • Good verbal and written communication skills • Attention to detail • Capacity to work effectively under pressure • Strong editorial judgment • Familiarity with project management software (AirTable preferred) • Demonstrated experience editing in a fast-paced environment • Understanding of SEO best practices and editorial standards • Experience working in a CMS • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Journalism, Communications, English, Marketing or related field
