Description

• Engage & guide clients through discussion on mission critical initiatives • Provide strategic recommendations to all levels of consulted organization based on desired engagement outcomes • Incorporate industry best practices in client discussions • Work with client leadership to influence project direction and priority • Generate contract deliverables, including Statement of Work and Time Estimates • Use Specifications to design Dashboards, Custom Reports, Decisions Support Tools and other projects as required • Develop database queries using T-SQL, PL/SQL, ANSI/Oracle SQL - following department standards and best practices • Validate data accuracy and quality • Document and test deliverables • Write internal procedures • Submit blog posts and newsletter articles • Represent company at trade shows, conferences, etc. • Present at trade shows, conferences, etc. • Research Evisions Tools for best practices and applications • Attend training to keep up with current technologies and tools • Work with internal groups to ensure client deliverable satisfaction • Support Sales and other departments as needed • Willing to travel up to 3 weeks/month for in house or client visits

Requirements

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or related field • 3 Years of MAPS, Argos Datablock /Report Writer experience • Banner Finance or Banner Human Resources experience • Higher Education industry understanding required • 1 year of Project Management experience • Higher Education ERP data understanding preferred • SQL, T-SQL & PL/SQL Required • SQL Developer, or similar tool • Relational Database concepts, structures and conventions • Analytic and problem-Solving skills • Presentation development and delivery • Written and Verbal Communication skills • Able to learn new technical database concepts and data as needed, quickly • Able to effectively communicate with executives at the C level, engaging in conversations concerning the shaping and meeting the strategic needs of the institution
