Description

β€’ Associate Medical Writers provide clinically and scientifically accurate insight in the development of promotional medical education content for peer-to-peer communications. β€’ Demonstrate great attention to detail and an ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment β€’ Support the project team on multiple brand projects under senior medical leadership, ensuring that customer service, quality, and timelines are met β€’ Write and annotate promotional medical education content for peer-to-peer programs β€’ Support promotional claims with current and appropriate product and clinical literature β€’ Prepare references and annotations of all content for internal fact-checkers and client medical/regulatory/legal review β€’ Work with senior medical staff on all accounts to provide clinical and scientific insight β€’ Assist in the development of content for advisory boards including generation of post meeting summaries β€’ Develop and assure scientific accuracy of manuscripts for publication and educational materials for healthcare professionals, patients, and pharmaceutical sales representatives β€’ Collaborate with Program Directors to ensure that written materials meet Client's strategic specifications β€’ Keep informed of new products, services, and other general information of interest to clients β€’ Execute all aspects of administrative responsibilities (weekly timesheets, weekly status updates, maintenance of a calendar in Outlook, etc.) in appropriately detailed and timely manner β€’ Perform other duties and assignments as directed

Requirements

β€’ Advanced degree β€’ Excellent oral and written communication skills β€’ Ability to conduct literature searches and web searches, and seek necessary scientific and clinical information in order to competently develop content for programs β€’ Strong ability to analyze clinical and scientific data, disease-specific information, competitive information, and market trends β€’ Team player β€’ Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills β€’ High proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and reference manager software (ie, EndNote)
