Description

• Extreme Networks is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Demand Planner to join our team. • In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring we meet customer demand by accurately forecasting future requirements and developing effective supply chain planning strategies. • Improve Supply related customer satisfaction while supporting revenue and profit growth through improved run rate and Pipeline forecasting and CPFR planning for Distribution. • Develop and maintain accurate forecasts for products, considering historical data, Product Mgmt intelligence, market trends, demand visibility, and industry dynamics. • Manage demand consumption against forecast; adjust & analyze variance. • Collaborate with Sales, Product Mgmt / Marketing, and SCM teams to ensure alignment between demand forecasts and Supply plans. • Monitor pipeline, industry trends, and competitor activity to identify potential risks and opportunities. • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate demand insights to stakeholders. • Creation and maintenance of a rolling 4-6 Qtr global forecast within Rapid Response. • Align forecasts to corporate ‘tops-down’ AOP guidance. • Maintain a non-revenue forecast for Service requirements. • Manage / Recommend buffer (investment) forecast. • Analyze historical data, market trends, and customer demand in preparation to work with Product Management to develop accurate forecasts. • Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports through SFDC and Rapid Response.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree • Experience: 5+ years in SCM or related field • 2+ years of experience in Demand Planning • Kinaxis (Rapid Response) knowledge and experience preferred • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Tableau; and aptitude to learn new tools / applications • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Team oriented; proactive and action-oriented • Analytical, able to transform qualitative and quantitative data into executable strategies • Working knowledge of ERP Systems and logic, specifically demand forecasting
