Description

• At eyeo, you will gain or deepen experience and knowledge in many areas of accounting, including customer and vendor transactions, fixed assets, general ledger maintenance, account reconciliation, financial statement analysis, audit and tax support. • Your day-to-day activities: • Maintain and update accounting records and files • Perform daily accounting activities, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, fixed assets, prepaid, account reconciliations and analyzing financial transactions in compliance with German GAAP and IFRS • Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments • Maintain fixed assets ledger and reconciliation to GL • Manage customer and vendor data in NetSuite • Assist in the month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring transactions are in accordance with GAAP, and that internal policies and procedures are followed • Help with the preparation of monthly journal entries, account reconciliations and variance analyses • Reconcile bank activity • Assist with the preparation of financial statements, including underlying support • Support with audit fieldwork and VAT filings • Ad hoc projects as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role • Proficiency in MS Office • Experience with NetSuite or equivalent ERP • Business fluency in German and English • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong analytical skills • Highly developed attention to detail • Strong problem-solving and time management skills • Team player with a positive attitude
