📋 Description
• Design, implement, and optimize efficient Lucene-based search and indexing solutions • Maintain, test, and debug search-related components • Identify areas for improvement in existing search functionality and develop enhancements • Architect Lucene for optimal performance and scalability • Work closely with other developers and product managers to refine capabilities • Mentor less experienced developers and contribute to team growth • Create technical concepts components and services
🎯 Requirements
• At least 5 years of experience in commercial and object-oriented development • Strong expertise in Apache Lucene and search-related technologies (e.g., Solr, Elasticsearch) • Experience with Java (and knowledge of Python or .NET is a plus) • The ability to communicate complex search concepts to non-technical stakeholders • Strong communication skills—both written and verbal • Hands-on experience with cloud-based search infrastructure and service-oriented architectures
