📋 Description

• FAFS Fire & Security seeks a skilled PAVA Maintenance Engineer to join our team. • Responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of PAVA systems. • Ensure systems are functioning optimally, compliant with safety standards. • Deliver clear communication during emergencies. • Perform routine maintenance, testing, and repairs on PAVA systems. • Install and upgrade PAVA systems and associated components. • Diagnose and resolve faults within PAVA systems. • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. • Test systems for correct operation and audio quality. • Maintain accurate service records and documentation. • Provide technical support to clients and ensure satisfaction. • Assist in training staff or clients on PAVA operations. • Be available for urgent service requests during system failures.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience in the maintenance, installation, and repair of PAVA or similar sound systems (fire alarm systems, PA systems, etc.). • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, audio equipment, and relevant software tools used in PAVA systems. • Certifications: Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering, sound engineering, or similar disciplines (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent). • Problem Solving: Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to troubleshooting. • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members. • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and precision, ensuring systems meet safety standards and regulatory requirements. • Health & Safety Knowledge: Understanding of health and safety standards related to electrical systems and public address systems. • Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call, for emergency maintenance. • Preferred Skills: • Experience with digital audio systems and IP-based communication technologies. • Knowledge of fire safety regulations and experience working in fire alarm integration. • Ability to perform remote diagnostics and offer client support via phone or email.
