• Join a diverse, fun team passionate about creating healthier and more just communities. • The Associate Development Director will join the Development Team as the third member. • Significant fundraising responsibilities as part of the Development Team’s collaborative work. • Identify and cultivate new funders, stewardship existing funders, write grant proposals and reports. • Individual donor and corporate sponsorship solicitation, supervise development staff person.
• Required Qualifications: Live in Illinois, Indiana, or Wisconsin. • At least 6-8 years of successful nonprofit fundraising experience. • Passion for environmental and climate justice. • Strong ability to effectively communicate and work with individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds, religions, and political beliefs. • Excellent skills in standard business computer applications. • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree. Significant employment experience relevant to the position may be substituted.
• A comprehensive benefits package is offered to full-time employees of Faith in Place. • Medical, dental, vision, life, and short-term and long-term disability insurance. • Employer-matched SIMPLE IRA plan, which begins the first of the month following employment. • Annual stipend to support professional development provided. • Up to twenty (20) paid vacation days a year (13.33 hours per month). • Accrued vacation will be available for use after three (3) months of employment. • Two (2) paid personal days and five (5) paid sick days available immediately upon hire. • 1-month paid sabbatical after 5 years of employment. • $20/month (non-taxable) toward cell phone use. • $40/month (non-taxable) for internet use provided. • $500 non-taxable amount one time towards home office needs. • Professional development discretionary funds of $350-500 per year. • Faith in Place will provide a laptop for your work.
