📋 Description
• Works closely with the Biologic Team Lead to help streamline the biologic process, billing, and collection • Communicates with providers, nurses, managers, and patients to track Billing for the biologics process • Communicates on the telephone professionally and pleasantly. • Efficiently screens and directs calls and makes appointments as necessary for the biologics process, if required • Runs reports to track biologics Billing and maintains integrity of patient billing records • Collecting all necessary documentation to complete timely and accurate submission of prior authorizations for biologics, as necessary • Interacts with clients, insurance companies, sales representatives, providers, and patients, as necessary • Follow HIPAA policies, billing and follow up procedures
🎯 Requirements
• High School Diploma • Minimum 2 years of recent AR experience in a healthcare setting • Proficient with Microsoft applications • EMR experience – 2 years • Proficient in denial management • Experience working Commercial, Medicare and Medicaid plans. • Experience working in fast-paced, high volume, multi-provider practice. • Understanding of Revenue Cycle including admission, billing, payments, and denials.
