πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends β€’ Maintains accounting ledgers by posting account transactions β€’ Verifies accounts by reconciling statements and transactions β€’ Resolves account discrepancies by investigating documentation, issuing stop payments, payments, or adjustments β€’ Maintains financial security by following internal accounting controls β€’ Pays invoices by verifying transaction information; scheduling and preparing disbursements; obtaining authorization of payment β€’ Create, process, and/or audit expense reimbursement requests by ensuring the proper documentation and approvals are submitted/received β€’ Complete data entry to appropriate expense processing software, as needed; may include adding accounts, vouchers, requests, general ledger numbers and/or obtaining correct documentation and/or approvals β€’ Review requests for compliance with policies and/or procedures; escalate concerns to supervisor β€’ Use established procedures, standards and formats to complete expense processing requests to client satisfaction β€’ Responsible for setting up new vendors β€’ Responsible for all vendor maintenance β€’ Performs audit functions for all invoices and any expenses above the firms designated threshold amounts β€’ Monitor and ensure purchase orders are adjusted timely and accurately β€’ Prepares, posts, verifies and records payments and transactions. β€’ Create and maintain required spreadsheets to track/monitor various functions as needed. β€’ Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed β€’ Assists client personnel in resolving Accounts Payable issues β€’ Special projects as assigned

🎯 Requirements

β€’ High school diploma or equivalent required. β€’ Associate Degree or advanced degree preferred. β€’ 1-2 years of related financial experience in a professional service organization; legal, banking or large corporate environment experience preferred. β€’ Prior knowledge of financial systems, i.e., Aderant Expert, Chrome River, Elite, Concur or any other comparable financial system preferred β€’ Must be proficient in MS Office and spreadsheet software applications β€’ Proven customer service skills required to create, maintain and enhance client relationships β€’ Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously β€’ Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive materials/documents β€’ Attention to detail, time management and problem-solving skills β€’ Strong written and verbal communication skills necessary β€’ Ability to maintain professional composure when working with immediate deadlines β€’ Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team β€’ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment β€’ Customer service experience
