📋 Description
• You will play a significant role in maintaining the financial books and records, and owning the accounting operations for vendors and suppliers. • You will be preparing journal entries, drafting schedules and completing reconciliations. • You will be also responsible for preparing detailed financial reports, including segment of region performance. • This role involves providing more advanced financial analysis. • You will collaborate with finance and other departments to deliver insights that support strategic decision-making, often tailoring financial data to the needs of different stakeholders. • You will play a key role in ensuring that the business unit’s accounting operations are functioning smoothly across all subsidiaries including the Polish entity.
🎯 Requirements
• Completed university degree in the area of accounting and finance • 6+ year of professional experience in accounting team • Advance knowledge of basic accounting and tax regulations in Poland (Accounting Act, corporate income tax and VAT) • Good knowledge of excel or google sheets - ability to create tables, pivot tables, use math functions like “sum if” • Advanced communication (written and verbal) skills in English • Demonstrated ability to accurately compare various data sets between accounting, HR, payroll and operations departments for reporting
