📋 Description

• Conducts quarterly reserving, forecasting, and rate indication analyses for assigned states. • Oversees direct reports’ reserving, forecasting, and rate indication analyses. • Interacts with Claims, Product, and other key business partners. • Helps Bristol West leadership and the product team manage the loss ratio. • Performs other supporting analyses, including CAT loads, Seasonality, Tail Analysis, and more. • Identifies and implements opportunities for improving the efficiency or accuracy of our processes. • Performs other functions as assigned.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required. • Fellow in the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS). • Eight years Actuarial experience, including two years as an Associate or Assistant Actuary. • Experience in any of the following: Excel, VBA, SAS, SQL, Python, R. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Demonstrated ability to secure 'buy-in' and convince others regarding best approach. • Goal oriented team player with a positive attitude. • Excellent time management skills. • Strong relationship building.
