📋 Description

• Looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Software Engineer - Backend • Work with a highly collaborative and cross-functional Backend Engineering team to deliver and scale core infrastructure components • Solve complex infrastructure-related problems with code, developing and providing post-release support for scalable applications • Drive technology design and articulate architecture solution options to product owners and Engineering leadership • Become a domain expert who follows industry trends and applies best practices

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of programming experience in backend languages • 2+ years experience with PHP (Strongly preferred), Python, GoLang, Java or a similar programming language • 2+ years experience with MySQL or a similar technology • Strong understanding of database schema design, caching and scalability • Strong understanding of various communication protocols (TCP, RPC, etc) • Strong understanding of Distributed Systems • Experience in Caching technologies is a plus (e.g. Redis or Memcached) • DevOps experience preferred • Experience with Full-stack observability tools like New Relic is strongly preferred • Workable understanding of Linux operating systems • Experience with modern CI/CD and containerization tools like Docker • Ability to perform time and memory complexity analysis • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
