📋 Description
• The Senior Reinsurance Financial Reporting Accountant will review and analyze the preparation and implementation of reinsurance financial reporting duties. • Responsible for timely and accurate completion of regulatory required reporting. • Reviews the monthly/quarterly financial statement close activities for reinsurance subsidiaries and other offshore entities. • Prepares analysis and utilizes reporting tools to obtain information from the general ledger (Oracle). • Collaborates with appropriate parties to develop quarterly results presentation. • Performs internal control procedures and documentation of controls to support compliance around reinsurance related activities. • Seeks continuous process improvements, including identifying opportunities for automation.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor's degree required with preference in Accounting/Finance. • Minimum 2 years of experience in related field or combination of experience with a professional designation (CPA, CFA, CIA, CISA, etc.) considered. • Reinsurance accounting experience in the life insurance or financial services industries strongly preferred. • Insurance industry experience preferred. • Professional designation in related field preferred (CPA, CFA, CIA, CISA, etc.). • Experience analyzing and understanding key data and technical accounting.
