📋 Description

• Applies intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad area of assignments. • Makes decisions independently on engineering problems, practices, and methods and may create and refine unique design solutions. • Stamping and sealing of one’s own drawings/documents as well as drawings/documents as the professional in ‘responsible charge’. • Performs structural analysis and design for a wide range of building structures both new and existing. • Active participation in the full project cycle, including Project Kickoff Meetings through final construction. • Oversight of construction administration including review of repair letters, shop drawings, RFI responses, providing direction for corrective action. • Plans, develops, coordinates, and directs medium to large engineering projects or several smaller complex projects. • Sketches engineering designs and develops project specific details from scratch into completed working details and drawings based on solid engineering fundamentals. • Occasional travel – including out of state - may be required.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil /Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited college. • Licensed P.E. • 12 years of directly related practical experience • Proficient in the design of steel, concrete, masonry, and wood. • Familiarity with design of cold formed metal framing. • Experience with structural analysis software including RAM Elements. • Knowledge of detailing requirements of steel structures, masonry structure, concrete structures, wood framed structures, and foundations.
