• Be a part of the team building the future of healthcare! • Firefly Health is building a revolutionary new type of comprehensive health "care and coverage,” powered by a relationship-driven care team, a trusted virtual and in-person clinical network, and our proprietary technology platform. • Founded by experienced clinicians and technology leaders, Firefly Health is on a mission to deliver clinical and financial health through joyful, always there care. • We are flipping the script on what it means to be a health plan and actually providing a true health benefit to members. • We are intensely focused on optimizing the physical + mental + financial wellbeing of those who want (and deserve) something better than the status quo. • If you are ready to roll up your sleeves and take on our audacious mission, then we would love to hear from you. • As the Clinical Director you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our clinical care across all customer segments. • Your leadership will be integral in driving strategic medical initiatives, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, and optimizing outcomes aligned with the company's mission. • You will lead a multidisciplinary clinical team, collaborate cross-functionally, and uphold regulatory compliance standards while fostering a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion. • Lead and manage the clinical team managers, RN, NP, Behavioral health, health guide managers, including hiring, retention, development, and quality assurance. • Establish clear performance goals for all clinical team members aligned with practice objectives and patient care standards. • Regularly monitor progress and provide feedback, coaching, and resources to support team members in meeting their individual and collective goals. • Oversee clinical supervision and quality assurance in partnership with the Assistant Medical Director. • Ensure Firefly care teams are meeting regulatory compliance and ensure ongoing compliance in all states and all scope of practice. • Implement both proactive and responsive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality and safety of patient care delivered. • Ensure all clinical staff is informed and educated on updates to care protocols, medical guidelines, and compliance requirements through regular training sessions, case reviews, and knowledge-sharing forums. • Set and uphold high clinical standards and practices aligned with primary care best practices. • Remain current of new trends and best practices in virtual care and disseminate this to the teams. • Partner with health plan leadership to align care delivery strategies with organizational goals, population health initiatives, and risk-based contracts. • Collaborate with the Medical Director of Value-Based Care to design and implement programs that improve quality metrics, accurate acuity capture, care coordination, and cost-effectiveness. • Conduct virtual consultations with patients to assess medical concerns, provide diagnoses, and develop personalized treatment plans. • Take home call one week at a time on a predictable schedule to address patients’ urgent health needs, frequency is prorated to clinical FTE.

Requirements

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing with active and unrestricted, current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in good standing. • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in primary care or related fields, with at least 5 years of direct management of clinical teams, which can be concurrent. • Proven track record of implementing operational efficiencies and improving team productivity. • Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills, with a keen eye for quality and safety. • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively across interdisciplinary teams. • A commitment to continuous learning, patient-centered care, and team development. • Knowledge of established Patient Safety principles
